About me

My name is Rachel and I have been a lover of yoga since I was 17 years old. As soon as I passed my driving test I would drive myself to a nearby class each week. I would be by myself and loved the chance to reconnect with myself and forget everything else. Over the years I have taken part in yoga classes throughout the country and world. Including hot and humid Bali, on a mountain top in Croatia, inside the Tate in St Ives and in many a beautiful inviting Yoga space right here in Leicester. I take inspiration from these wonderful experiences when curating my own classes.

I run with a different theme each week, varying from physical aspects of the body, such as Lower Back, Hips, Headaches, to emotions such as love, compassion, anxiety and stress. Recently we explored Moon Phases making our yoga journey connect with each moon phase. My classes are ever evolving as I continue my own teaching pathway.

I began studying to become a yoga teacher in 2018 and passed my YMCA Level 3 Diploma. I also teach Pregnancy Yoga after completing my YMCA Level 3 Diploma Pregnancy and Postnatal Yoga.

I welcome everyone to my yoga classes whether you are more advanced or have never tried yoga before. I offer many variations and alternatives throughout the class to suit all abilities and strongly encourage body listening and to respond to your personal needs, both physically and mentally. I pride myself on keeping our bodies safe during our yoga practise, giving lots of guidance on correct alignment.

If you have any questions on joining any of my classes please don’t hesitate to get in touch 😊

See you on the mat!
